    Reflection
It's been a busy course, but I plan on having this wrapped up before Christmas so I can focus on a writing assignment. That is, if Operation Job Hunt 2012 is indeed over.
    OK
Re: Challenge #13, I've finally finished my Global Project Design page:

It'd be nice if I could get credit for #15 via #14...after all, that was a presentation that lasted over an hour! ;)

    Pedagogy: Global Project Design
This chapter's mission is to explain the concept of contribution and collaboration and how they work together globally. Collaborative contribution is defined as "a contribution (of any form) made by a collaborative participant which leads to the emergence of shared understandings and contributes explicitly or implicitly to the collaborative output."

For Challenge #8, I participated in the Net Gen Ed project wiki. When comparing and contrasting a collaborative wiki editing project with a traditional in-class group work project, the difference is the students in the collaborative working environment are more independent. When they make corrections and/or revisions, they are in a different location in most cases. A traditonal in-class environment allows the students to be in the same location and converse with each other. Therefore, to teach in a collaborative environment, the students have to be taught to act independently but at the same time be respectful of others work.
For Challenge #9, I used the Wiki Grading Rubric to assess three students that participated in the Net Gen Ed project that I conducted research on. To accomplish this, I first reviewed the wiki history and discussion tabs to determine if the students contributed proportionately. Just like the rubric states, if a minimal number of contributions are made by the students, I adjusted the grade accordingly. Also, I used the following three criteria descriptions to assess the students: (A) Finding and Understanding – Research, (B) Analyzing and Evaluating – Content, and (C) Communicating and using Web 2.0 Tools – Organization and Presentation. The maximum score for my assessment for each of the students was 100 points. I also used the same assessment to assess myself. I simulated participating in this wiki since I was only an observer. Of course, I scored the most points! ;o)

5)Finally, Which picture best represents Global Project Leadership/Management?” I would have chose Option E with the puzzle. I like comparing the representation of a project to putting the pieces of a puzzle together.

    Flat Classroom 15 Challenges
For Challenge #14: Prepare a 5 min. pitch detailing your ideas for a new global collaborative project based on the design ideas discussed and explored during this course. This pitch will be delivered during a live Elluminate online meeting and recorded for future review. Include in this presentAlso, include a link to the project outline online that also includes suggestions for implementation.
